Own a Pony Days
Come and own a pony for a day. Ride your pony in the morning and afternoon and learn about looking after your pony such as how to groom, feed,muck out and tack up. Lunches available in the oak lodge for courses & pony days. 10AM - 4PM : £47

Three & Four Day Courses
A three or four day course learning all aspects of stable management and riding. Groups split according to level of experience. Includes 2 hours riding per day. 10AM - 4PM £135 - 3 days / £160 4 - days

Week Long Courses
A week long course learning all aspects of riding and stable management. Groups split according to level of experience.Riding times vary but will include at least an hour am and pm with a variety of lessons, hacks and fun events. It will also include an all day ride and competition at the end of the week. 9AM - 5PM - £250

Easter Egg Hunt
Ride to hunt for Easter Eggs - any level welcome from Novice canter upwards

Kiddies Easter Egg Hunt
Ride to two secret places where the Easter Bunny has left a few easter eggs behind which need finding!

Easter Mock Hunt
Chase the Easter Bunny to catch his last remaining Easter Eggs! - Experienced riders only please and as usual we do request that all participants come early to help with horses and stay after to help. Thankyou

Show Jumping Training
A two week Easter course and / or a 3 week summer course learning how to correctly walk and ride a show jumping course including learning distances. Any level welcome as long as you have started jumping or canter pole work (course will be split according to levels if necessary).

Quadrille riding to music
Have a go at drill riding in a one off special at Easter - and / or do a 6 week course in the summer. Learn to ride like the Spanish RIding School! - This is great fun and really good for learning control. A really enjoyable (and beautiful to watch) technique of learning to ride in pairs as a ride to music. This is fantastic for learning control and enjoyment of your riding - and looks pretty impressive too! We are planning for the summer group to be able to perform their quadrille to music either at the end of the course or at an arranged performance! Must be novice canter level or above.

Lungeing training
3 week summer course. An essential part of learning how to train a horse and being in harmony with your horse - a skill all those intending to have their own horse in the future should learn and also a very interesting method of training and watching your horse move. progressive riding tests - 6 week course for all ages from 5 years upwards (will split according to level of experience). Start your progressive tests - or continue working your way through if you have some already - these are very good tests (senior tests can count towards BHS exams and NVQ units)

LE TREK COMPETITION
A 6 week basic training course on Le Trek with a competition at the end for those who want to. Great fun - learn to interact with your horse from both the ground and as a rider - lots of different and interesting techniques to learn - also learn horseback orienteering (will be altered for younger members if necessary).

Spring and Summer Special Rides and Evening Rides

Riders must be of good walk and trot level for all the following special and evening rides. Rides will always be split according to levels of experience (unless requested not to by friends of varying levels wanting to ride together )

Cream Tea Rides
Take a lovely ride to Otterton Mill for a cream tea. Return early evening when the wildlife is abundant and sunlight amazing.

Picnic Rides
A beautiful ride covering most of Woodbury Common with a stop for a picnic on the way.

Pub Rides
A day or evening ride to Otterton with a stop at the pub for lunch or dinner.

Evening Rides
The best time to ride when the atmosphere and light is amazing and lots of wildlife

Dawn Rides
A very early beautiful start to the day to watch the sun come up over the Exe Estuary with a bacon butty and a cuppa tea. You will certainly have the common to yourselves. (ride will go subject to weather conditions. Exact timings will be advised nearer the time to accurately calculate sunrise times.

We are running three residential camps this year and two non residential riding weeks.

We still have a couple of spaces on most evenings. These 12 week courses are a great way of learning towards goals with the same group of people and great fun. There are both adult and childrens clubs.
